Twin-Canvas™ : Utility Beyond the Block-chain
Twin-Canvases are inspired by burried art works often found upon x-raying an old piece of art. There are many famous examples. Upon examination, sometimes an entirely different art work is found. Sometimes it is an early rendition of the final piece.
In a similar sense, Twin-Canvases contain two art works. To do this, stenographic encryption is used. Your downloadable image appears as an ordinary PNG file (and may be used as such). However, encrypted within each image file is a second canvas!
“Two in One” : Unlockable on or off the block-chain
While the second canvas is extractable directly, your purchased NFT also acts as a key to download the main work, a high resolution version of its second canvas and any other attached works or resources.
You may also extract the second work directly from the PNG file itself (using third-party software). It contains extra art work and shows each editions unique collection number (1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc). This means it is accessible off the blockchain.
Note: Download and installation of free, open-source software to a PC is currently required to decrypt and extract the twin-canvas. A high-resolution version of the second canvas/work is available for download via Darkblock - your purchased NFT acts as a key to access that service.
Redundancy
Each work is truly considered as a canvas. Both works go together and this method of providing some of the unlockable content means that it can be accessible to you without access to the block-chain. If it is your intention to hold onto the art-work for a long time, you can back-up the files in such a way that they are not block-chain dependant.
